Our guests bailed, so we ate earlier than planned. Still in our jammies we inhaled a pork roast, new potatoes, peas, dressing, sweet potatoes, and champagne. We took our time because desert was baking, a wonderful cake.
Thanksgiving is about two things, gratitude and acceptance. My reality might not be perfect, but I accept my world for what it is right now, and am grateful for my many blessings.
